Medical Coding Specialist

MedCare Diagnostics is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist to accurately code diagnostic reports using ICD-10 and CPT systems for insurance claim processing.

Responsibilities:

• Review and code clinical documentation from lab reports and physician notes
• Ensure coding accuracy for insurance reimbursement and regulatory compliance
• Liaise with the billing team to resolve claim rejections
• Stay current with coding guidelines and payer-specific requirements

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of medical coding experience
• CPC or CCA certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Attention to detail and ability to meet daily coding targets
